Lead design
SWIMPAY - Financial Inclusion Product
Design a complete MVP combining regulation, UX clarity, and technical feasibility.
Year :
2024
Industry :
Finance
Client :
Swimpay
Project Duration :
4 weeks

Context :
I was approached to lead the design of Swimpay through recommendations from former colleagues, who knew my experience in innovation projects within French banking, including Caisse d’Épargne, as well as my strong product sensibility, shaped by daily use of modern neobanks like Qonto, SwissBorg, and Revolut.
Swimpay is a fintech concept designed to simplify access to banking services for underserved communities through a unified wallet and card experience. The goal was to deliver a strong MVP for potential partners, while laying the first technical foundations, supported by a modern, trustworthy UI that could accelerate early development and validation.

Challenge
Design a complete MVP combining regulation, UX clarity, and technical feasibility.

My Role
Closely with the Founder and the developer, I owned the product vision from early concept to MVP definition. I translated business ambition into structured user journeys, worked hands-on with developers to align UX with technical constraints, and designed the core financial flows to reduce friction in sensitive moments such as onboarding and payments.
This role required balancing strategic thinking with detailed execution, ensuring the product remained human-centered while meeting regulatory and architectural realities.
Outcomes
Complete MVP architecture defined
Core financial journeys designed
Product vision aligned with technical constraints
Validated concept ready for execution
High fidelity design
